We research how cultural policy gets made and who it reaches, and we build the data infrastructure the sector needs to make its case.

Independent analysis needs independent funding. A tax-deductible contribution supports research no one commissioned, resources that stay free to use, and the capacity to respond quickly when the sector needs an answer.

Culture and Arts Policy Institute is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our EIN is 99-0992705. We are funded by private foundations and individual supporters. We do not seek or accept government funding, which keeps our analysis of public budgets independent.
